Latest Updates
July / August 2005
The latest addition to the Constantine family arrived at 7am on
Saturday July the 23rd and yes another girl!!! Isabel weighed in
at 8lb 4oz and mother and daughter are doing fine. Of course I am
delighted and feel truly blessed that I am the father of three lovely
little girls, I don’t think I will ever have to make another
cup of tea again in my life!
Football wise things are a little quiet as you would expect as
most teams are almost ready for the start of the new season and
most positions are filled.
It is very frustrating time as you can imagine and I am trying to keep myself
busy and will be attending as many games as possible during the new season
and of course apply for jobs that I feel could be of interest. I am doing quite
a bit of scouting and that’s a great way to get to know how teams play
and whose who and of course I get to meet people and of course be seen.
I have also attended a coach education course earlier this month
in relation to my coach education work and look forward to doing
some work in that area. I enjoy passing on knowledge to other coaches
and of course you always learn things from the other coaches as well
so a very worth while experience all round. There is also my work
for fifa and have recently been asked to conduct a course for them
in Ethiopia in the next few months, I love going to different places
and Africa is certainly an interesting place to visit.
A shorter then usual column this month as there really is not a great deal
to say so I will leave it at that for the moment and hopefully will have
more to write next month.
All the best
Stephen
