Even though most teams have completed more than half their games in the UEFA Euro 2008 Championship which is looming close ahead, there is still a lot to play for as the teams look to get to the finals this time around co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria. It’s a slightly different format this time in that there are more teams in each qualifying group, providing chances for smaller teams to play against bigger opposition more often in the hope that it will help the so-called smaller nations to raise their standards.
