United, who are close to signing Carlos Tevez; and what an addition he would be. Man U have already secured utility man Owen Hargreaves at a mere £17 million, the new Portuguese wonder kid, winger Nani (20), and Brazilian midfielder Anderson (19), who between them cost a combined £30 million when joining from Sporting Lisbon and Porto respectively. This means they are certainly not sitting on their laurels and will once again be one of the favourites this season.
