| Welcome to the website of Stephen Constantine
After starting his early coaching career in the United States Stephen was given his first professional coaching break in Cyprus where he spent seven years before he began on his globe trotting exploits. Four National teams, a stint in the English Championship with Millwall FC, February 2010 saw Stephen return to Europe with Cypriot side Apep F.C
"Its great to be back in Europe and of course at home where the family is based in Cyprus. It was a great honour to be a National Team Coach but I did miss the day to day involvement that you get with a club team. Being involved with a club of course means the games come thick and fast and there is always something going on be it watching other teams, training, identifying new players and of course the competitive games. For me its all about being at the sharp end and I am enjoying being back at club level"

A firm believer in the need to constantly improve his knowledge and skills, Stephen holds the highest qualification available to the coaching profession, the UEFA Pro Licence. In 2001, he was inducted onto FIFA¡¯s elite coaches¡¯ instructors¡¯ panel for which he travels the world delivering a variety of coach education courses for FIFA, as well as providing courses for and on behalf of the English FA.
Over the years Stephen has developed an extensive network of contacts worldwide, and these, together with his ability to absorb the culture of the countries in which he is working, and apply the benefits of his international experience, has provided the foundation for his success as a coach. Stephen firmly believes that it is important to be flexible and have an understanding of the people and the culture around you. As he embarks on his second adventure in the vibrant and exciting world of African football, Stephen is relishing the prospect of sharing his knowledge and skills, while at the same time continuing his life-long search for professional learning and improvement.
Where was Indian football three years ago? He has come in and given us confidence, spirit and the will to win. We owe him a lot. It will be a disaster should he leave." -- S. Venkatesh, Mahindra United Midfielder Indian Captain, June 2005
"Stephen Constantine is a fine example of someone who, through hard work, perseverance and study, achieved significant status in football as a national coach...we'll be keeping a close eye on his future progress." -- Les Reed, Former Technical Director of the English FA
Stephen¡¯s impressive array of coaching qualifications includes the UEFA Pro Licence. He is also one of the youngest members (and the only Englishman) on the FIFA Instructors' Panel, teaching coaching and education courses around the world.
